For the past three years, I've worked as architect-in-residence for Glamis adventure playground in Tower Hamlets. As a playworker with a focus on making, this role has allowed me to work collaboratively with young people and undertake research actions - reflecting on autonomy within the built environment and the pedagogy of free play and loose parts. This direct action has informed wider research on the public realm, the rights of the child and wider rights to the city.
